The Chesterfield Police Officers Association (CPOA) is a not for profit organization established in 1996. It is organization similar to the Municipal League that serves the needs of Municipal Government administrations and the Police Chiefs’ Association which supports police administrators. Like many police officer associations, the CPOA was created to support the welfare of rank and file police employees and their families.
The CPOA is affiliated with the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), on the national, state and local level. All members of the CPOA are members of the Eastern Missouri Coalition of Police, Missouri FOP Lodge 15. The FOP is the largest organization in the country representing the interest of law enforcement and their families. It is an organization of police officers representing police officers. Please take time to visit the links to the FOP affiliations to learn more about what they do for law enforcement officers, their families and the communities that they serve.
The CPOA, while established to assist police officers and their families, also works within the community. Portions of the annual fundraisers are donated to local charities. New ideas are being sought out and studied to assist the community. Ideas or requests for assistance are welcomed and should be directed to the CPOA.
The men and women of the CPOA are our sons, daughters, husband, wives, brothers and sisters. They are committed to the citizens who live, work and recreate in Chesterfield. They strive for excellence while protecting the Constitutions of the United States, State of Missouri and the City of Chesterfield.
